Extruded cores
Cores are available in any diameter from 1/2" ID through 6" ID. Our material of choice for precision film cores is High Impact Polystyrene HIPS but our expertise includes HDPE, PP, Polycarbonate, ABS, and a range of engineering grade resins. All extrusion cores are available with a tape start.

Injection Molded cores
Injection molded cores give you the ultimate in a quality precision short length core and the best price even in large quantities. Any size or shape is available and injection molding allows us to produce very tight tolerances, the only limiting factor is the length. We have a unique program for the smaller user, in that the customer pays only for the insert or inserts using our stock mold base therefore eliminating most of the cost of injection molded cores

Polypropylene (PP) is a wide-use polymer, which is found any various application in the E&E, Households and Automotive markets. PP can be categorized as general-purpose homopolymer and high impact copolymer

General Properties : Good fatigue, moisture, and chemical resistance; low density; good stiffness and processability.

Fire retardant applications for PP are mainly divided into 2 categories

Lower standard of flame retardancy UL-94 V-2 / DIN 4102 B2 : which is used for Building/Construction applications as pipes, lamp holders, stadium seats, fiber spinning etc. FRs of choice are FR-720, FR-370, FR-1206 HT (stabilized grade), and in some cases FR-1210.

Higher standard of flame retardancy UL-94 V-0 : which is used in E&E applications, "under-the-hood" battery housing. FRs of choice are FR-1210 , FR-1808 (filled applications), FR-1025 (glass reinforced applications).
